Parking for all events will be based on number of participants and the weather. We will be parking most/all vehicles in the yard, weather permitting. Parking on the house side of the road is always available, so please be careful. If you need to drop off supplies, instruments, food etc. to the barn, let us know. Please call ahead if you need assistance getting to the Barn, we can accommodate you.

Spring Equinox Andean Despacho & Native American Pipe Ceremony on Saturday March 22nd, 2025  

1pm to 5pm.

SPRING EQUINOX is an important day to celebrate in nature with community and Spirit. Time to blossom with ceremony and unity.

All are interactive Ceremonies for everyone to learn and experience. ALL are welcome.

We will be celebrating in our hearts and prayers with a DESPACHO Ceremony lead by Kathleen Snavely and NATIVE PIPE (Chanupa) Ceremony lead by Cheryl Kilduff Janssen.

A "Despacho" is the primary form of energy work and manifesting ceremony of the Andean Pa'qos (shamans). It is built in the form of a meal for Mother Earth, an artistic and heartfelt expression of gratitude and appeal for right relationship with "All That Is".

We are all in some form of major transition. This is a powerful way to align ourselves with the energy flow of the universe and bring about the conditions needed for the next phase of our lives.

One of the Sacred ceremonies given to the Sioux people by White Buffalo Calf Woman is the Chanupa. A symbol of honor, solidarity and the sacredness of life. This ceremony is a way to connect people to the physical and spiritual realms. The smoke rising from the pipe, provided by the inner bark of red willow carries our prayers to the Creator. The pipe is made of specific red pipestone representing the Earth and blood of all peoples. The stem made of wood represents nature, all plants and trees. We honor all directions of Spirit and land. We will go over protocol before we start this ceremony.

***We are asking for a $22.00 donation; however, we will not turn anyone away if you do not have it.

Weather permitting, we will be Parking in the yard starting up by the barn. Someone will be there to tell you where to park. In case of rain, parking is on HOUSE side wide shoulder on rte. 136.

ABOUT US:

KATHLEEN LESTER has been an Andean Mesa carrier since 2012, studying with Pamela Panneton of Land Spirits and Jose Louis Herrara of the Andean Research Institute and the Rainbow Jaguar Institute. Kathleen founded the Animal Reiki Alliance in 2010.

Animals and the earth have been her guides and partners throughout her journey. She is also a Medical Reiki Master,

Animal Communicator and lover of Mother Earth and all her beings.

Sound Alchemist CHERYL KILDUFF JANSSEN has been creating sound, vibration and Sacred space for many years. Known as Reverend Cheryl, she has been a Minister for Universal Life Church for 25 years. She was adopted into a Lakota Tiospaye in 2014, being honored with the Chanupa (pipe) in 2013. Also, a Mesa carrier in the Andean Shamanic tradition, she believes in bringing the Eagle and Condor Prophecy together in her spiritual ways. Her love of traveling has given her the opportunity to experience many ways of “being.” Her dedication to Mother Earth and all life forms has her sending out prayers and performing Sacred Ceremony at many occasions. As an event coordinator involved in native and indigenous studies she believes, “We are the Ones we have been waiting for.”

One child under the age of 12 is FREE with each paying Adult ticket!! Additional children $10.00 (up to age 12) Come play, laugh and Hunt for eggs (full of goodies) at Laughing Stone Hollow!!!

We have donations for egg prizes from iON Massage & Spa, Haven and Anita's Treasures in Havre de Grace, R. Dirtflower Crystals in Ellicott City. KARMAFEST will be donating goodies too!!! YAYYYYYY!!!! Lots of good stuff!!!

LIFT is an acronym that will be explored throughout the 90 minutes to help raise vibration, inspire faith and provide healing techniques for increased clarity, emotional awareness and pain relief. It combines live music, inspiring stories, breathing techniques (qi gong), inner reflection, dance/movement, essential oils and self-acupressure instruction. This experience will be complimented by the powerful healing sound immersion by Cheryl and beautifully aromatic flower teas to awaken dormant energy in the body. Together we'll be raising the roof! Everyone in the audience will also get a gift to enhance their experience.
